This past week, I taught a "Funky Pins" workshop for the Monmouth Teen Art Festival. What a blast! We used stiff backing products as a base and taped, pasted, hot glue gunned various glittery, magazine, newspaper, buttons, puzzles and other items to them to make FUNKY collage art. I can't take credit for the idea, I believe it was the brain storm of Sandy Taylor, Art Education Director for the Monmouth County Arts Council. So as I taught the young artists how to make the pins, I made several of my own. I will post images of my two favorite pins soon :)
