As Dorsey Lucas, a participating artist describes it "Coming to Monmouth County over 30 years ago, has provided me an enriching life experience with immensely talented artists, writers and musicians. Just over a year ago I met with three of my closest art friends, (Mare Akana, Barbara Rivolta and Yvonne Yaar) and proposed a collaborative exhibit to fill the space I had reserved at the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center. It has been an amazing and inspiring journey. Our 8 HANDS ON exhibit may be one culmination, but I also see it as another beginning to even more collaborative efforts." [quote not verbatim]

I hope that you are able to attend some, if not all of these events. Happy New Year!
