I could get real philosophical and deep here, but I'd rather give a spontaneous heartfelt answer. "Art is the fruit of a continuing journey. Art is the the result of determined and continued practice in one's chosen area of self-expression. Sometimes we dare to share our results with others and risk laughter and criticism. Sometimes we wait and hope someone will discover us. More importantly it's about the journey, the discovery, the playful moments. The time we allow ourselves to play.

I agre with Neetzy- on a deeper level - some time we dare to share ourselves (not our results) with others - and risk rejection. We cant wait and hope someone discovers us - we must expose our vulnerabilities in order to gain connection - but we may simply be able to let "rejection" run off our backs like water off the back of a duk, knowing that it is a spiritual journey, and that there are connections to be made, despite any nay-sayers....
Art is the icing on the cake of life and raises us humans above the fray of the day to day.
